What makes any dominant tick?

Sir, may i please ask what drives a Dominant in general terms? What makes Him tick? Is it the control? The helplessness of His sub? Inflicting pain? Humiliation? Does submissiveness/obedience turn Him on? Is it fun to train, or a chore? Thank You Sir

Unfortunately, I can’t answer this question. Every dominant is different. I would rather doubt that there is a truly universal set of principles that makes every dominant tick. We’re humans not androids ;)

Any answer I give is related to me and my personal experience and we should all understand while reading it that my experience cannot be extrapolated to apply universally to all dominants.

I am highly motivated by control. In fact I’m always seeking to accrue more of it from everyone that serves me. Especially when boys tell me no. I want to make them say yes later of their own free will and turn over any controls they initially denied me.

Inflicting pain and humiliation do motivate me, but these two more so than many other kinks do NOT motivate a surprising number of dominants.

Heh. This might surprise a number of readers, but submissiveness and obedience are not universal turn ons with dominants. Some men really value a willful submissive or puppy. Someone they have to work on to a boy to get him to cooperate. I’ve been told by men that enjoy “brats” that they really enjoy the challenge of making them submit and obey. The never ending challenge is the fun part for them.

It is both fun to train a boy and a chore. The chore part most applies for me for online play. I put in all this work on a boy over the net and the only pay off comes from my own right hand. I got tired of that around 17 years old. Sometimes a submissive is particularly excited to train and it is cute and that part is fun, but mostly training for a boy is done so I can enjoy him later once he’s gotten down whatever I’m teaching. At the same time… teaching a boy, and seeing him do as he’s taught and obey as you instruct is an incredibly gratifying experience. One I very much adore.

Is that REALLY the core of who I am as a person?
